Grouts are always a problem to most of the owner and tenant. When they do vacate clean for the house that they moving out, a lot of the agents / owner wanted the tenant to make sure that grout is done properly. The problem is, once the mould grow into the grout, it is very hard to get rid of them. The best solutions is to treat them whenever you start seeing them around.
- Squeegee every time after you took your shower.
- If you dry your shower cubicle every time you finished your shower, most of the time, you don’t even have to clean your shower in may be 3 months. Just use a squeegee to scrap off the excess water from the screen, wall and floor into the drain hole, is that simple, might take you 30 second to do that.
- Use White King Toilet Gel (Power Clean) to treat the mould as and when you see the mould is growing.
- Once a month, just use the white king Toilet Gel to treat the mould. Just give it a drop on the mould area, and let it sit for a few hours. What i normally do is, after the morning shower, dry the cubicle with the squeegee, then squeeze a few drop on the mould area. Let it sit until the next shower, you can use a small tooth brush and grout brush to give it a brush, and you will notice the mould is gone. Choose the clear color or white color toilet gel, if not, it might leave some color behind on the grout.
If you do this regularly, you will find that there is no mould in your shower cubicle when you are moving out. Owner will appreciate and agent will find that you are a good tenant. Everybody happy.
